Hurricane Class

World Book Day 2021

Well done and thank to the children. They made our ‘covid safe’ World Book Day a real smash! They designed and made book character potatoes, had stories and poems read to them over the big screen and voted for a tato-tastic story to end the day. Here are the tata -tots and the winner for each class.

Christmas Jumper Day

Well done to Hurricane Class for making a great effort with your Christmas jumpers. Thank you for your contributions towards Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

T'was the Night Before Christmas

What we have been learning

The children are really enjoying finding out about Eastern Europe. They have been using their Knowledge Organisers for learning the names of countries and their capital cities and will continue with this next lesson. We are going to be learning about the physical and human features of Mukachevo in the Ukraine and comparing these with Lincoln.

We have been trying really hard during our Music lessons and our ‘Samba Band’ is coming along nicely. We are grateful to Mrs Ellis from Lincolnshire Music Service for her expertise.

As part of our topic on ‘Light’, we have explored the idea that light travels in a straight line.
